Beng Beng
Beng Beng was 9 years old when David and Morena met them and these Photo's were taken, she has a rare skin disorder, it is hoped to get her to the UK for treatment.
It means because of her appearance she is afraid to go out.......
But she now has a friend Abeliene and together they enjoy a rare day out.
(In June 2021 Beng Beng celebrated her 11th Birthday with friends)

Helping Fire Victims
A family of 26 lived together, in One large brick house and 4 Shack buildings.
One afternoon they all attended a funeral, dressed appropriately, On their return they
found their living and business properties destroyed by fire.
They only had their funeral clothes.
On David and Morena's first visit they took a sack of rice enough for 2 weeks meals
On their second visit they took another sack of rice and clothes, the families were very
thankful but did not expect them to visit again

School Equipment
In 2019 Lion President Liz had a project in her term of office to supply school equipment so each child their own
3 Large Boxes of equipment were collected from Pembrey Wales and conveyed free of charge to the Philippines and distributed to the children
For the first time the children have their own personal equipment

Good quality donated clothes were taken from wales to the Philippines

Laoac National High School
500 pupils with only one wash basin facility
Breaking Ground
They now have a bank of 10 + 2 disabled positions for the children to use
Smart Television's
Laoac National High School also received three Smart T V's bought in the Philippines for about £150 each giving the school a modern educational aid

Tamaro - Tambac Elementry School also received TV's
A few weeks after the donation of TV's were given they were being used for COVID 19 Awareness to the school children also adults in the local community

Plant to Plate Project
Placed in the school grounds of
The start of the Plant to Plate project where its hoped to Grow vegetables and fruit to use at the school also if there is surplus sell to the local community to help the school fund.
Here the land is being shown where the school garden will be, until now it has not been possible through lack of water. A pump well being installed for the school will supply fresh drinking water and water to help the crop in the garden
Mary Magdalene Colleges of Laguna
Puroki, Uwisan, Calamba City
The Sisters and Nuns of the college look after the Lola's - Orphaned Grannies that have no family now and need care.
David and Morena gave them a Christmas party as well as a Pump Well
The Sisters and Nuns have prepared and planted land beside the college to grow their own crops

Pump wells not only provide
drinking water they also give
much needed water to grow crops
These photo's were taken in
February 2020 before the Taal Volcano erupted.
In July 2020 the Lola's are eating the crop and have planted more seeds, it is hoped soon they will be able to sell the produce to the locals.
