Caswell Bay Children in Need Special September 2020
Under STRICT Covid conditions
Another 9 day build covered by Glantawe, Swansea, Ammanford and Gower Lions clubs
Covid meant that this time we had to be in our "Bubbles" and to be at Langland Bay car park for the 7am bus each day after having our temperature checked so we were on site ready to serve refreshments from 8am to 6pm each day then bussed back making a long 12 hour day
On site we were given a coloured wristband for using the right colour coded toilet and rest area for lunch, teams were sanitising the area continually.
This time NO cakes could be excepted only donated sealed items direct from well known supermarkets.
We had two gazebo's to serve one person at a time
This Big build was achieved by a small amount of skilled workers each planned to a space and time.
The usual "Purple shirts" and Pudsey were in attendance.
Unlike previous builds we have been to the Reveal was invitation only with a strict number allowed
Surfability South Wales
